Yes it was Marcus in the movie if you watched close he was in other parts, the Helo that went do watch closely and you will see the frog man. Lone Survivor wasn’t exactly a character study. The book doesn’t dwell on the values and character of the people in mobey, it is about one specific event. There is little character development or growth. As such, the question is hard to answer. He doesn’t detail any previous missions, so it starts with his pre-enlistment life, delves a little into his seal training, and then goes into the action.

Lone Survivor is a American biographical war film based on the eponymous non-fiction book by Marcus Luttrell with Patrick Robinson. Upon first learning of the book inBerg arranged several meetings with Luttrell to discuss adapting the book to film.
